A Winter fairytale…

On first meeting Amy and Tristan I knew this was going to be a wedding theme to love. Their wedding was to take place in the middle of winter (which in Qld is still a mild temperature – one that I’m currently yearning for). Amy had wonderful ideas of using antique gold accents blended with deep plum red blooms and varying tones of foliage. The wedding took place at Kangaroo Point and unfortunately the outdoor ceremony was dampened by winter drizzle so the wedding was then held indoors at the beautiful Shaftston House. Although everything did not go according to plan photographer Nick Evans managed to make full use of this overcast drizzled out Brisbane day and the winter wedding with subdued tones added a wonderful ambience to the textures and palette Amy had decided to go with for her stunning winter fairytale wedding. Many Thanks to Amy and Tristan for asking Wild at Heart to be an integral part of the beauty of your wedding day and thank you to Nick Evans for these delightful wedding images from their big day!
